Romania Extended 1.6 RELEASED


Log 1.6

-standard version and Promods 2.27 version
-added Plovdiv and Stara Zagora in Bulgaria
-removed low-res mountains
-new signs, romanian-like look, for romanian territory (all cities, all roads)
-fixed minor problems and wrong placements
-complete road from Sofia to Burgas
-new road link Miercurea Ciuc-Bacau-Vaslui
-compatible with YKS, SR, RM, RK, PM and other maps, road/ferry connection provided.
-other landmarks added in the whole map.

No new profile needed, finish your delivery.

Respect the loading order from the video.
First load can be long, after that it load in just few seconds (see this in the video)

No compatibility with Eastern Express or Project Balkan.

ROEXTENDED 1.5 [1.31.XX] ALL VERSIONS

Log 1.5
-converted to 1.31.xx game version
-standard version and Promods 2.27 version
-few optimizations in redendering, mostly close to big towns.
-removed most of the low-res mountains
-road type/number in MAP view.
-fixed minor problems (including dealer in Sibiu, sleep area)
-added city of Burgas (that area will be the next developing area towards Sofia)


Respect the loading order from photo included in ZIP package.
DLC NEEDED: Italy, France, Scandinavia and East.

IMPORTANT: FIX for bad connection Budapest-Szeged (only in Promods version)

[i didnt see the broken road connection between Budapest and Szeged assuming in that sector it's only vanilla sector, and my map connects with Europe through vanilla map. Well, seems a corner of that sector was used for romanian connection by the Promods team and the result it's a level missplacement.
Solution: use this "REmapPM 1.5.1" file and remove the default 1.5 REmapPM file

ROMANIA EXTENDED 1.4.2 Promods version

ENGLISH

This is a specific version for Promods 2.26 compatibility.
Working only in ETS2 1.30.xx  ALL MAP DLC
For non-Promods, use my standard version (they are NOT the same!)

LOG
-replace the romanian territory from standard Promods
-add all 56 cities in Promods map (42 Romania, 5 Serbia, 7 Bulgaria, 2 Moldova)
-cities of Osijek, Subotica and Zrenjanin from Promods are lost in the process and not replaced.


!!!! respect the loading order from the photo (inside package also) for Roextended and Promods.
You can add other maps as usual after Promods files.

I dont think it works with Balkan Project (i have to see, i didnt use that add-on)

ROMANIA EXTENDED 1.4 aka Balkan Expansion

08.05.2018 update
ROMANIA EXTENDED 1.4 (working in both 1.30 and 1.31 beta)

LOG 1.4
-fixed partial wall at roadwork near Alexandria.
-placed garage in Sibiu (ooops!)
-fixed editor error saving blank sectors in Germany and Austria
-added 5 cities in Serbia including Belgrade.
-added 3 cities in Bulgaria including Sofia.
-5 new connections from Szeged, Timisoara, Craiova, Ruse and Shumen.

City count: 56
Builded in: 3 months and 10 days

Please report any error (if any), i will upload a fixed version if needed.

ALL DLC needed, no new profile, but finish your delivery before installing 1.4 version.
At first start wait for cache to be rebuilt.

ROMANIA EXTENDED 1.3.EV

ROMANIA EXTENDED MAP v.1.3.EV (Enhanced Version)

LOG 1.3.EV
-this version ends the discussion about map quality or beauty. It's not a "maded in 35 days" map anymore.
-vegetation changed 100%, only Hi-Res trees near road and specific for romanian climate.
-reworked every road and every city
-added tones of new materials, hills, buildings, dummy roads for traffic flow, landmarks.
-totally new look even for ones who use this map in regular basis.
-other improvements, i dont want to spoil the experience.
-all add-ons removed (map colours, truck and car colours, lights, traffic files)

ROMANIA EXTENDED 1.2 [1.30.XX] ALL MAP DLC NEEDED.

 This is  the main version for now.
Future updates will take place only if important content it's ready. 

LOG 1.2 VERSION

-new redendering values, no more landscape pop-up for the entire map; (main update) - now you can enjoy the full panorama.
-2 new towns: Chisinau and Balti from Moldova Republic
-first steps in design improvements: removed part of low-res vegetation, reworked some roads, crosses, signs, vehicle and ambiental lights, city detail, buildings or even some missplacements.
This is gonna be work in progress for some time (always something to improve)  but also the map expansion towards new territories.
-decent spawning frequency for romanian cars, no more police problem (sience last version)
-removed any traffic file from the map to avoid ( in some cases) the need to create a new profile. (i dont know a solution, i never experienced that and also i never seen a LOG file in that situation).

The map was tested alone
or
in map combo with TSM, RusMap, RK Steppe and Southern Region (with some fixes).
There is a separate folder with all the fixes for SR and also the custom ferry-connection with my map, available in a separate link.
The load order of the map (or combo) it's in the photos included.

ROMANIA EXTENDED MAP 1.1 [1.30.XX] ALL DLC

LOG 1.1
-added 3 bulgarian towns: Shumen, Varna and Ruse connected with Giurgiu and Constanta.
-added romanian specific cars (Logan, Duster, Sandero, old Roman bus and the granny Dacia 1310), MCV Yellow Taxi with passangers, thanks to Todor Alin (and Jazzycat for some models)
-fixed police spawning at more than reasonable level. Removed sound and lights from it.
-fixed Oradea-Hungary connection, the end of it was in different sector than the one i saved.
-created "city centre area- specific city center vehicles" for all 45 cities. (no add-on needed)
-reworked some parts of the map for redendering reason.
-removed 3 invisible walls from 3 companies/dealers yard.
-added true cars and trucks colours thanks to Cipinho. 
-other design fixes.

ROMANIA EXTENDED 1.0 [1.30.XX]




This is a complete map of Romania with 42 cities, as i've promise, all the main cities from every county.
Keep in mind, very important, 35 days to complete this.
I didnt have much time for testing.
Please, any problem you will find, post it here!
The art critics can go to take a loooong hike.
The map will be updated only in "beauty" departament (still alot of work to do), no room for more cities.

All the cities are fully operational with companies and garages to start the game in.
All cities are are brand new, no copy/paste was used (what's the point?). Some are big, some not.

The map was tested alone
or with TSM and RusMap together and it's working fine. NO additional file needed.
The Southern Region works also probably. For SR you can use also the Constanta-Ferry package for Promods, i have a ferry active in Constanta too.
Not Promods compatible.
The load order it's in the downloaded package.
And also keep in mind this has less than 170MB!

LOG 1.0
-fixed zoom for map view, no more shifting. If you have my mod SuperZoom, it's not needed anymore, it's in the map files.
-reworked Oradea entrance intersection, the GPS will use this route.
-added tunnel lights to highway tunnel near Sibiu
-all the missplacements reported are fixed.

LOG 0.9 BETA + 0.9a BETA
-removed the gate from Brasov-Tradeaux, a prefab bug; and from Baia Mare, this old prefabs are a pain in the...
-corected the romanian police spawn ratio (again, thanks to Alin)
-corrected the font files for cars and police cars (also Alin's hand)
I did some deliveries and no other problem was found, but i am just one. I expect feedback.

All DLC map needed! WHY?!?!
For this reason:
Every DLC has new prefabs and materials in it: buildings, roads, vegetation….When you build a map you look to create diversity and for that you need options to choose.
You don’t want a city with a sigle type of apartments building or all the cities to look the same.
This is why we need DLC’s, for new materials they bring. And to play a map with those materials you need that DLC too.

ROMANIA EXTENDED BETA 0.9A

This is a complete BETA map of Romania with 42 cities, as i've promise, all the main cities from every county.
This is for vanilla game with all the DLC.

Keep in mind, very important, 35 days to complete this.

This is why it's a BETA, i didnt have time for testing.

A quick update

Sorry to not posting for a few days but i was cut in a working fever on this project named ROMANIA EXTENDED. I forget to tell you to keep an eye on SCS forum for my thread about this :

The rate of the developement it's going like crazy, for now all the main cities for yellow counties are ready to launch.
 More than 23 cities are finished. I intend to release the first version off the complete romanian territory before the end of february. Tight deadline. Will see. Pictures from this map are available on SCS forum, make sure you read all the pages there. Thanks for visiting and keep in touch.

Romania Extended (for vanilla)

Apart from my personal project, Europe Extended Map, i've decided to use some of my material and rehash Romania. The reason?
Well, there are two options when you want to start your game in romanian cities: either use Promods or use Europe Extended. That means you have to use a map package. What about the vanilla game? Nothing.
MIRFI is working on his map of Romania, my respect for that but i'm sick about all the same 10-12 "big" cities of Romania and alot of road around them. The "big" cities are not even that big in Promods for example.
SO....

This is my Romania Rehash Project, a romanian map that will make any romanian happy, not just ones from Cluj or Bucharest.  This will include (atleast) all the cities "county residence" (CR - resedinte de judet).
This will work with any map that not include Romania: TSM, RusMap and so on.
The material used it's JUST SCS and some FLD models (big thanks for that).
This is what i finished until today (started last week):
All the cities are fully operational with companies and garages to start the game in.
Tg-Jiu, Arad and Timisoara are imported from my work in Europe Extended, the rest are brand new.
I hope the next week-end i will able to release the west half of Romania with many CR as possible.
I know there is a big city quantity. As for quality, judge for yourself when you try the map.

Arayas Normal Economy 1.1 [1.31.xx]

If you cheat in this game there is no fun anymore. What's the point of having millions from day 1? (except for testing).

So, i present to you a ...Normal Economy Mod. Not super, not REAL, not anything than normal. "REAL" it's not applying in this game because the costs of a real transport company are more than : gas, repairs or whatever it is in this game.

I know, "OMG another economy mod?!" Yes, but let me tell you what you will get with this:
- the bank is there to help you grow or start a business. You can have a 50.000, 100.000, 250.000, 1.000.000 as a loan but not in a first day. You have to prove something before you can get 1 mil!
Be careful, the return time limit and interest rates are pretty tight, the daily payments are hard to cover and for this you will need to produce money. Sounds familiar?
-a little reduction of damage data but in normal amount so you will need to drive carefully to avoid money loss.
- a normal garage it's 70.000 and an upgrade it's 30.000. This are normal prices for purchased propriety or for construction of a new wing. In real life this it's related to position, city, country etc. but in the game itself we have just one price. So this is an average.
- the refund by selling a truck is 75% of the nominal value of that truck (35% in vanilla and that's funny). A well kept truck costs 35% of his value after 10 years of service maybe, not after 30 days.
-You can buy a truck online at any time, even your first one. It's stupid to link online shopping with driving experience.
-The average speed of a delivery it's slightly increased so you can not mumbling around with the cargo atached, the delivery time limit it's shorter.
-the revenue for a delivery it's more natural and this with increased bank payments will lead to a harder developement of your business, like it should be. How come vanilla pays 120.000 for a delivery? For that amount of money i will buy a truck and go deliver myself! It's stupid!
-your drivers will make money much harder and the profit will grow with experience only.
-the fines are tuned for more natural flow of the game, important mistakes costs higher. The amount it's relative from country to country in real world, so this is an average.
-you have to prove yourself in first 5 deliveries, after that you can go to the bank for a loan.

It's a mod maded by me for years because it's not fun to be a millionaire in 30 (game) days.
 If you want a normal ride, use this. If you want a easy one, go find cheats or use vanilla.

Put this above any map file. To test if it's working (placed corectly) try to see the dealer trucks in ONLINE mode.

ATS Arayas AI Superlights 1.6 SOFT VERSION [1.29.xx]

The same as in ETS2, it's a remake of my Superlights mod with warm colours for street light and toned down power for them. Also, a quick improvement of the flare of the AI traffic, now visible from far distance.

If you want more and if you want pain increase that with a number between 1-10. How to do that, see below, it's exactly the same like in ETS.


You have 2 files in COMBO pack, extreme version and standard version. Standard it's way better than vanilla game but you will have air to breathe. USE ONLY ONE.

Arayas Supertraffic 1.2 [1.30.xx]

Pretty often in the past i was finding myself running to find "traffic" mods because vanilla ETS2 map spawned a few cars in the game.

In time i just realized that all the mods are just Placebo pills.
The game has a simple policy about the number of cars in the game, just one file for spawning vehicles by the hour and type of road and the multiplier known as  <<uset g_traffic "1">>  (this value is DEFAULT). THAT'S IT!
Of course, many mods have tones of files in it but they are doing more damage than to affect traffic.
They are editing files needed by other map mods or other car, country mod and the final result is crashing the game.
Solution?
Use a simple mod for spawning diversity (by the rush hours of the day and by the type of the road) with a little boost on allowed number of spawned cars and adjust yourself the DENSITY.

 Arayas Supertraffic 1.2 [1.30.xx] does the first part. The second it's up to you.

Open your config.cfg file from MyDocuments\Euro Truck Simulator 2 with notepad and add a value between 1 and 10 to      uset g_traffic "1".
Where 1 it's normal traffic situation with no high car density
and
10 it's "get me out of here!!!" traffic situation with high car density.
For example i play with  uset g_traffic "7".

If that line it's not there just add it to the end of all codes.
Now, about my mod.
I divided the day in parts with different car density. Rush Hour between 7-9 and 16-18, normal density the rest of the day, reduced traffic between 22-0 and night traffic with bigger density for trucks. I increased the number of alowed car to be spawned because if the number it's to small your
trick with  uset g_traffic "10" wont produce some massive effect. If the spawn limit it's 1 for a specific vehicle, by applying uset g_traffic "10" you got 10. Big, but not so big number after all.
In vanilla game the uset g_traffic "1" produce empty highways and streets.
With my mod and uset g_traffic "1" i was able to get this:





If apply both, the mod and the uset g_traffic "x" trick, you gonna have the exact game situation you want to have. Use other file-stuffed mod and in the end your game or other mods will crash.

And next we go to a much normal traffic in this section: THE STANDARD EDITION but much more traffic than vanilla game.

Arayas SuperZoom (for big maps)

This is a simple mod to increase the size of the MAP so you can see the whole thing
mostly designed for Promzona, RusMap, RK Steppe or Russian Open Spaces or even with YKS Turkey.

The zooming it's bigger than similar files from online enviroment.
No need to say, the background of the map it's not gonna fit, but the only good zoom i've seen it's in vanilla game and thats all.

IMPORTANT! The mod needs to be above any GPS or map mod.
